Thanks to the support of Patrons, FORGE's first Milestone update is here. For Version 1.1 onwards, your save files from 1.0.x (Any previous version) will NOT be compatable with the title. Due to changes to the Save conversion system, previous version saves cannot be upgraded to 1.1, but this should be the last time this occurs. I sincerely apologize for the inconvienience and hope that you'll take the time to play this revised version of the game.

-=Bug Fixes=-
Fixed a MAJOR performance issue in FORGEThis was caused by every script in the game that interacts or uses player input creating its own self-contained instance of the input configuration. In some cases, this meant that FORGE was managing over 1,000 instances of player input actions, exponentially increasing every time you switched to another scene. This has been resolved with a single, globally accessible input map and scripts "disconnecting" their input interactions when you leave a scene. Some quirks may occur as a result of this. While development testing fixed most issues, please report any strange input interactions you discover to the FORGE Discord!
Fixed a bug with the Inventory Submenu that occured after switching to the new global configuration system.Fixed a full game crash when crafting items at the Forge.Fixed a bug where the Mounting Bracket was not tracked in the quest [The Art of Blacksmithing].Fixed a scaling issue with Quest Cards.Fixed a bug with the Inventory where the submenu would open with the inventory in some circumstances.Quests now track items being added properly.Quest Cards now properly complete when all of the objectives are completed. The Notebook UI no longer crashes the game when opening it with no known recipes. The Notebook UI now properly updates quests if you opened the Notebook initially with no quests, but then later obtained one.Fixed a bug where the Notebook UI would not properly enable or disable player movement when opened or closed after moving from scene to scene.Oxygen decay in the mines now properly starts and stops after fixing an issue with NPC interactions. Some interactions have been resolved where the Dialogue system would not properly load a dialogue.
-=Known Issues=-
Silva has a ton of tile errors still. The Village has a few rogue tiles from previous versions. The collision in Vera is inconsistent in some areas. The Vendor dialogue in the Alchemists' shop can sometimes lock the player up. Save before talking to him!

What Is FORGE?
[Screenshots are from a work in progress and do not reflect the final release or the OPT build.]
FORGE is an in-development adventure RPG. You're on the search for your father, a world-renowned blacksmith, who has suddenly gone missing without a trace.
You'll craft, gather, build, and interact with several trade guilds as you find clues to your father's whereabouts.
This Open Public Test contains a small portion of the game in its current state and should be considered a work in progress.
Development of this title has been supported completely by our patrons at https://patreon.com/MegaMasterX and the support has helped us commission up-and-coming artists, voice talent, and audio. We thank you for considering supporting this project in the future!
